PROJECTS

Below are some examples of what OPERATE can do for you

OPERATING MODEL DEVELOPMENT

Our client was a bank that had recently set up a new surveillance area to better comply with legislation. The documentation was at procedural level and lacked an integrated high level view.

OPERATE reviewed and expanded the existing materials and elevated the documentation into a formalized operating model. The result clearly uncovered which components needed further development and governance.

PROJECT PROPOSAL

A Government agency needed a new system to manage cash transactions. They had just been through a major transformation program and cash was still running on legacy systems.

Based on a review of the existing system landscape, overall program progress and remaining funding, OPERATE developed a proposal to implement a third party SaaS solution. This would result in significantly reduced implementation risk, back testing and CAPEX. The proposal anticipated the future IT strategy and obtained full endorsement from IT.

PROJECT DELIVERY SUPPORT

A financial services provider needed support with their project delivery model. Progress on a large regulatory project had stalled and needed to be re-ignited. Furthermore, the project outputs had gone through multiple rounds of rework and required tighter definition and management to enable efficient stakeholder contacts and governance.

OPERATE developed a pilot to define and present deliverable structure, content and dependencies end-to-end. The pilot allowed the client to refine the schedule and costings and was instrumental in obtaining sign-offs, as it enabled proactive managent of stakeholder expectations.

OPERATING MODEL REVIEW

Our client was a startup in the sustainable energy sector with a patented product with high market potential but slow sales growth.

A review of the client's operating model identified core capabilities in product development and lead generation. Control over production and international distribution had been outsourced to a third party under an exclusivity agreement. The client therefore had no control over expansion strategy and sales focus areas.

OPERATE got the client to exit the agreement, regain control over distribution and build up their sales capability in order to be able to determine sales strategy and create a model that supported full accountability.

SERVICE DELIVERY MODEL

A Government agency was looking into ways to transform the delivery of internal support services. Customer feedback indicated low satisfactions scores, lack of transparency and inconsistent service delivery.

OPERATE crated the blueprint for a future service delivery model that would include a streamlined channel landscape for easier access to services, improved knowledge management to reduce escalated requests, collective issue resolution to create ownership, shorter wait times and increased transparency and tracking of requests. The new model would steer customers towards better self service options and improve service providers' ability to handle complex requests.
